Gather ‘round, folks! So, I’ve been scrolling through the internet and stumbling upon a lot of proposal videos, and I have noticed a pattern. It turns out, a lot of these lovebirds didn’t just bump into each other at a coffee shop. Nope! They had their friends, siblings, or even that overly enthusiastic aunt playing matchmaker.
So, let’s get real for a second—what’s the deal with your single status? Are your friends and family holding out on you? Do they not see the shining, lovable, dateable gem that you are? Are they secretly plotting to keep you single for their own entertainment?
I mean, think about it! You’ve hit every hotspot in town, swiped right on more profiles than you can count, and you’ve talked your way through every possible “getting-to-know-you” stage until you’re practically an expert in small talk! So why aren’t they doing the Lord’s work and hooking you up with their handsome friends, gym buddies, or those eligible relatives?
Maybe it’s time to have a little chat with your squad. Ask them to dig deep and think about all the fantastic single guys/girls lurking around in their lives. Tell them you’re ready to play the dating game, and you need them to start matchmaking like it’s their new job! Unless, of course, you’re secretly a terrible girlfriend/boyfriend or husband/wife material. In that case, maybe it’s time to do some self-reflection, or just invest in a really good pet.
